April Update!

It's been awhile, so here is a recent update on our lil' life!
Carter is now 5 months old!!! He is growing so fast, literally! He has been sitting on his own now for a few weeks. He is rolling over both ways! When he is on his back, it doesn't last long anymore before he is on his stomach getting mad that he can't crawl away! He tries so hard to crawl, he gets his back legs up and tries pushing but hasn't quite figured out yet that he has to lift his arms and head too! lol He is eating 2nds foods and loving all of the new foods! He tries eating everything we eat in front of him and gets mad when we can't share it with him! lol It's so much fun to watch him learn all these new things! We bought him an outdoor swing and he loves swinging! He laughs and smiles the whole time ( when he isn't trying to eat the straps! lol )
We had a great Easter with tons of family! He got a cute Easter basket with a toy fourwheeler and some candy. Although he can't eat the candy we made sure to do it for him! lol =) he tried eating it though, I'm pretty sure Carter will have a huge sweet tooth just like his Dad and Mom!! =) lol 
We have been enjoying the nice nice weather this last weekend and week, while it lasts! I love summer and can not wait till summer is here. I can't wait to go camping, four wheeling & swimming with my boys!!

Carter Sauce Update!

Carter will officially 4 months old tomorrow!! He is getting so big! We weighed him ourselves just the other night and we think he weighs about 16 pounds now! He fits into 6 month clothes and is getting so tall. I am getting so anxious for his doctor appt. He gets his 4 month shots on the 29th. He will actually be 4 1/2 months when he gets them, the doctor had to post pone his 2 month visit because she was going to be out of town so he gets his shots a couple weeks later than norm. We started feeding him 1st foods! He wasn't to sure about the applesauce, but he absolutly loves his greenbeans!! =) We gave him bananas last night and he loved those too! He still tries to kinda suck the spoon but he is learning to lean towards the spoon and open his mouth! He is sitting on his own now, AT ALMOST 4 MONTHS! He can't quite do it with a straight back for too long, yet. He sits up and puts his hands on his feet or legs to hold him up. He reaches for all his toys now. If we have things in our hands and he sees them he grabs them away from us and puts it in his mouth! lol  I laid him on his belly the other night and he went straight on all fours! only to crash on his face! lol but he did it for a few MILLISECONDS! haha He is our little turkey bird and is growing up so fast! I can't imagine what I will think when he is walking and talking, if i am already thinking he is growing up way to fast! We love every minute of it and wouldn't trade it for anything.

On another hand, we are currently trying to look for a house and a mortgage broker to get a loan. If you have any names of any brokers PLEASE let us know! We really would like a house out in Snake River. We are gettin so anxious to have a HOUSE, our own place, somewhere where our money is going to use and not just being thrown to some person for nothing. We hate renting and we are afraid we might have to rent for another year before we can get a house. =(

Rolling!

Carter started rolling the other night! He did it three times that night and has done it every night since when we put him on his belly! He is growing up to fast and I'm sure he is already going to be crawling before we know it. He tries to, he sticks his lil bum up in the air and pulls one leg under him, but he still can't quite figure it out. I would post the video but my computer won't open the file for some reason, when I get figured out I will be sure to post the video!
Well I had my birthday a week ago. I turned 21! It was a good night, just dinner with the family and relaxation. Derick and I went to dinner and to see Valentine's Day the next night. We had a good time, I didn't make him watch a total chick flick like I had planned on doing. LOL but he was a trooper and watched this one with me, it was actually pretty good and funny also. We just spent Valentine's Day with our families and dinner with my family and Grandpa. . . My Grandpa Larson.

I have to talk about my wonderful Grandpa. He is the best guy I have ever known, He use to live in Nampa all while I was growing up and we would visit him and vice versa. till the last few years and before he moved back to town, we hadn't seen each other. He moved back in 2008. He is getting "older", as age does happen to us all. He wasn't able to maintain his house in Nampa anymore and decided to move closer to family so that we could help him out. It's been great to have him back around. He comes over to mom and dad's every sunday for dinner. We all get together and have a nice home cooked meal that my mom makes. We call Sunday  "Father's day" I love having him around, He does the best he can. I think the " old age " gets to him and makes me a "grumpy old man" but I still love him with all my heart. He keeps to himself and stays pretty quite on that sunday, but he enjoys having the time to be with his family. He is a great guy and at 88 years of age he just keeps on truckin each day. brings the good in with the bad and makes the best of what he has. I love that he has been here to see Carter and watch him grow. Carter loves seeing him and smiles and laughs whenever Grandpa makes noises at him. I'm so glad that he is able to watch Carter grow.

That is a little more from my life and what I have been thinking about! Its been a great week this week!

Baby Pictures. 3 days old till 3 months!

HI! This is my first blogg and I will admit, it's pretty confusing. But I want to be able to look back on it like a scrapbook and remeber all the pictures and memories it will hold. So here we go.

I want to start off from the day Carter Steven Adams was born, November 13th 2009. He came into the world fighting! He did not want to come out, literally i guess he was shaking his head "No" the whole wait out! He weighed 7 lbs 4 ozs and was 21 inches long! He had quite the conehead but still very handsome! He has grown so much!! He just turned 3 months on the 13th. A few weeks ago at his appt he weighed 12 lbs and was 23 1/2 inches long. He was in the 50%tile for this weight and 75%tile for this height. He has gotten to hold his head so well now. Sitting up is almost accomplished as well. He loves sitting in his new Boppy Pillow! That pillow helps them out alot. He will lay back and pull him self up and just repeat it over and over. It helps with laying on their bellies as well. He hasn't quite got the roll over down. He has done it once but hasn't been able to do it again yet. =) He will get there soon! He is always smiling and TALKING! I can already tell we are gonna have a little jabber jaw on our hands. He coos and growls and hums all the time. He is noticing he has feet and toes which is fun to watch cause all he does is stare at them as he moves them, with his eyes getting wider!
His dad sure loves him to pieces! He was so ready to be a dad, it may of come earlier than he hoped but he is a great dad! Carter already has him wrapped around his finger. Carter won't fuss for longer than 2 SECONDS and Daddy Dekie comes running to the rescue! It is so wonderful to watch them play together and learn from each other!
My parents absolutly adore him. He is there 3rd grand kid but pretty much like the first. They dont get to see the other two cause they live in Wyoming, so they missed all these fun stages. But they are loving every second of it now. My in laws love having a new baby. It's their 12th grand kid but very happy to have him here. Everyone from Deke's family fights to get to hold Carter next. They are all baby crazy and in love with him. He is so spoiled rotten from both sides!
We love every second with our little Carter babe and wouldn't trade it for the world! Here is a look at some pictures from when he was born till 3 months old!
